Mrs. Frances Buckner Peacock, age 97, born January 6, 1913, a life-long resident of East Point, GA, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010. She was a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church in East Point. Her husband, Richard Lamar Peacock, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dolores and Ray Smallwood of Gainesville, and Shirley and Gary Heath of White Springs, FL; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery on Cascade Road in Atlanta with Rev. Gary Heath officiating. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home Friday, January 15th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
